Dean began his career in the medical sales profession. Ten years in the profession led to promotions for two different Fortune 500 companies specializing in key account development and new product launches. He left the medical field to start a manufacturer's representative agency in the Detroit area, supplying products to the automotive manufacturers. This company also led to the formation of Sales Marketing Group (SMG) in 1983 to promote and market products to the automotive industry. Dean developed a branding program for QS-9000 (automotive quality standard) and became the exclusive global distributor during its ten-year existence. Sales Marketing Group made a strategic decision to diversify away from mostly automotive to the medical and healthcare industries. SMG now enjoys a diverse account base and a strong financial position in these growing industries.

When not at work, Dean enjoys skiing in the winter months and bicycling and fishing during the rest of the year.

Jenny joined the Sales Marketing Team in 2013.  Her background and experience in the industry has made her a good fit with the company.

Jenny has been in the promotional product industry for over 20 years and brings with her experience in back office operations and sales.

At SMG, she is part of the Sales Team searching new clients as well as servicing the clients she has brought to our group.

Bonnie came on board with SMG in 2013 after working at LogoVision for twelve years in the accounting department where she handling billing/payables for the Birmingham and Troy branches.

Before her accounting position, Bonnie was sales manager for thirteen years for a wholesale company that specialized in computer supplies and accessories.

In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys the warm outdoors and bike riding.  She loves animals and spending time with family and friends.

My first day in the industry (1999), my boss asked me what I thought I was going to be doing? I answered “I am a personal shopper for corporate America, right?”

I started in the industry as a Merchandiser. I researched trends and product usage for my staff and over the years have worked as an assistant as well as an independent sales person.

I found my true promotional home in 2016 when I found the ladies of SMG. I get to do all of the above and be part of the Sales Marketing Group, where every day is an adventure. Currently I am a customer service representative and also an outside sales associate.

My background is in Photography, Art History and Art Education. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Photography and Minor in Art History. I continued my education at Wayne State University Graduate School where I earned my Post Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education K-12.

I am best known for being creative, playing games on the internet (not while at work), my love for TIVO and my cat Kitty Kitty No Name!
